We extend our heartfelt thanks to Curamus School for Autism for their support and invaluable assistance with the design of these booklets.
This booklet is a learning resource designed specifically for neurodiverse learners who are beginning to read simple English sentences. The aim of the booklet is to help children practise early reading skills, sentence recognition and basic vocabulary through short and structured sentences.
The booklet contains 100 simple sentences that children can read. Each sentence is supported by a small picture, which helps learners connect the written words with visual meaning. This approach supports children who learn best through visual cues, repetition and predictable sentence patterns.
The simple sentence structure helps learners build confidence while practicing decoding, word recognition and sentence comprehension.
